The City of Edmonton has a terrific opportunity for a marketing and communications student to contribute as a team player in our fast-paced environment supporting the Communications and Engagement Department. You will be responsible for implementing communications and marketing strategies to support key business projects for the Community Services Department that support the department’s goals and objectives. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals while gaining valuable knowledge and skills in an empowering environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide communications and/or marketing advice that supports business goals and objectives
• Support the development and implementation of communications and/or marketing plans
• Participate in client meetings and coordinate communication and/or marketing activities
• Day-to-day management of business area social media accounts
• Assist with event planning and execution
