m5, Atlantic Canada’s largest independent marketing agency, is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join their Halifax office. This role is crucial for ensuring client campaigns run smoothly, delivering impactful results, and maintaining strong client relationships. The Account Manager acts as the bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring strategy alignment, timely delivery, and overall client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their goals are understood, championed, and exceeded.
Act as the main liaison between clients and internal creative, strategy, production, and media teams.
Keep projects on track regarding timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships.
Identify opportunities to grow accounts and introduce innovative ideas.
Support the Account Director in client strategies and presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in an advertising agency or marketing role; agency experience is highly preferred.
Relevant undergraduate degree.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Mix of strategic thinking and creative curiosity.
Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach.
Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Basecamp, Smartsheet, and Function Point is an asset.
