Description:

Brainhunter Systems Ltd is hiring a Manager for Store Supplies Procurement Programs to support sourcing of indirect consumable goods for a retail pharmacy environment. This hybrid role is based in Brampton and reports to the Sr. Manager of Store Supplies. The Manager will lead procurement initiatives, manage supplier performance, optimize costs, and support store supply operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams on strategic sourcing projects and spend reduction initiatives.

• Manage supplier performance including contract compliance, continuous improvement, and cost ownership reduction.

• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve performance issues and align with company expectations.

• Identify process improvements for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

• Handle store supply inquiries, purchasing order receipts, invoice and receiving discrepancies.

• Participate in vendor and internal business meetings.

• Manage product assortments, article creation and maintenance, and store supplies catalogue.

• Resolve costing errors and coordinate with distributors for AP processing and communications.

• Provide ad-hoc reporting and assist procurement operations as needed.

• Work closely with distributors to resolve shortages and update systems with accurate data.

Qualifications & Skills:

• University degree in Business, Procurement, Engineering, or related quantitative field.

• 5+ years relevant experience in retail procurement, supply chain, sourcing, and vendor management.

• Experience with SAP and Ariba systems.

• Knowledge of packaging and commodity markets in retail is an advantage.

• Strong initiative, judgment, and organizational skills.

• Strong business intuition and understanding of procurement quality standards.

• Experience managing significant sourcing projects independently.
