Description:
As Program Manager, you will:
· Lead the day-to-day operations of assigned programs, ensuring high-quality, participant-centred service delivery.
· Supervise, coach, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive workplace culture.
· Monitor program performance, participant outcomes, and service quality, implementing improvements to enhance effectiveness and meet organizational objectives.
· Oversee program planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and service delivery to ensure operational efficiency.
· Support staff through performance management, onboarding, professional development, and regular coaching.
· Ensure compliance with organizational policies, funding agreements, reporting requirements, and applicable legislation.
· Monitor budgets, program expenditures, and resource utilization to support responsible financial management.
· Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with employers, community organizations, funders, training providers, and other stakeholders.
· Review program data, prepare reports, and use performance metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
· Identify opportunities to enhance programming, improve participant outcomes, and strengthen organizational capacity.
· Represent the organization at community events, partner meetings, and stakeholder forums.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who has:
· A degree or diploma in Human Services, Business Administration, Social Work, Education, Community Development, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and leadership experience will be considered.
· A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in employment services, workforce development, community services, or a related sector, including experience leading or supervising teams.
· Demonstrated experience managing programs, projects, or service delivery in a participant-centred environment.
· Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills with the ability to motivate and support staff to achieve organizational goals.
· Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Experience interpreting performance metrics, preparing reports, and using data to support decision-making and program improvement.
· Strong organizational, planning, budgeting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client or case management information systems.
· Knowledge of employment services, labour market trends, community resources, and funding environments is considered an asset.
· A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation may be required.
