Logistics Coordinator

Description:

VYV, a Montreal-based company, specializes in 3D graphics and computer vision for creating spectacular projection effects for artists and creators. Since 2004, it has worked with prestigious clients such as Cirque du Soleil, Justin Timberlake, Robert Lepage, Roger Waters, Miley Cyrus, and Jay-Z. As a market leader, VYV offers technical video consultation services, on-site product integration, custom software development, and technical support. They are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the delivery and inventory processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and coordinate international equipment deliveries (receiving and shipping), including the preparation of necessary documentation (commercial invoices, ATA carnets, etc.).

• Manage the inventory based on order books and place orders according to established thresholds.

• Update tracking tools for equipment.

• Maintain positive relationships with delivery service providers.

• Improve the company’s logistics processes.

• Support delivery activities for satellite offices (US and UK).

• Collaborate with the technical director on innovation projects.

• Manage office supplies and any other material orders.

• Manage improvements to rental spaces.

• Prepare deliveries.

Requirements:

• College diploma in a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Good knowledge of IT equipment.

• Ability to lift up to 15kg.

• Proficiency in Office Suite and Google Drive.

• Bilingual (French and English).

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and responsibility.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Interest in performing manual tasks (minor soldering, repairs, etc.) and knowledge of electronics is a plus.
