Linear Infrastructure Engineer

TYLin, a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a Linear Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing teams in North York and Whitby, Ontario. This role will focus on designing small to medium-sized water and wastewater projects, ensuring innovative, sustainable, and high-performance solutions for our clients.

As a Linear Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead design efforts for underground water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including open-cut, trenchless, and rehabilitation projects. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and supporting project managers in delivering Environmental Assessment Reports, Studies, and Detailed Design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of underground water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

• Support project managers and assist the project design team in delivering high-quality projects.

• Handle multiple projects for various clients simultaneously.

• Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performance team culture.

• Assist in business development and proposal preparation.

• Provide design support to Contract Administrators and Site Inspectors during the construction phase.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil or related field).

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng) required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and wastewater linear infrastructure design.

• Experience designing vertical infrastructure (pump stations) is an asset.

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.

• Strong client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering innovative and effective solutions.
