TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm based in Kingston, Ontario. In this role, you will lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical engineering projects with a focus on quality, safety, compliance, and client satisfaction. You will act as a technical expert and mentor, managing single-discipline projects independently and collaborating with project management teams for multi-disciplinary initiatives. Your expertise will be pivotal in designing modern, sustainable, and future-ready building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design, execution, and completion of electrical engineering projects.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry codes, including Ontario Building Code, Ontario Electrical Safety Code, and NFPA standards.

• Mentor, guide, and provide technical expertise to junior team members.

• Prepare proposals, technical reports, and project abstracts.

• Act as Project Manager for single-discipline projects and collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects.

• Contribute to building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) license with PEO; other provincial registrations are an asset.

• 3–5 years of relevant engineering consulting experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Revit, and AutoCAD.

• Experience in industrial, commercial, and residential building design is an asset.

• Strong knowledge of power and lighting systems design.
