Description:

Mastercard, a global technology company in payments, is seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager to drive their customer experience strategy through innovation and problem-solving. This role involves planning, executing, and delivering projects related to technology, products, or programs, managing dependencies, resources, and milestones to ensure successful completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and maintain integrated project plans accounting for dependencies and constraints

  • Secure resources, prioritize efforts, and establish delivery milestones

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of engineering work across teams and organizations

  • Provide status updates and clear communication to senior leadership and stakeholders

  • Act as the first point of contact for projects, ensuring timely decisions and resolving blocking issues

  • Understand program/product domain deeply enough to represent the team credibly

  • Foster good relationships with engineers, managers, and peers

  • Continuously improve team processes through data-driven retrospectives and meetings

Candidate Profile:

  • Understands business context and customer use cases

  • Can evaluate system designs and participate in solution discussions

  • Skilled at resolving conflicts constructively

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

  • Experienced in scrum delivery

  • Some knowledge of API development and microservices architecture

  • Strong ability to explain technical issues and communicate vision effectively

  • Proactive problem solver who looks for innovative solutions

  • Complete mandatory security training
