Laundry Room Attendant

About The Role.
What you’ll be doing.
- Responsible for daily cleaning of lab coats and coveralls
- Maintain glove dispensing stations
- Maintain laundry room so it neat and tidy
- Keep the packaging conference room and hallway clean
- Order and stock laundry supplies
- Keep up to date records as required
- Order new garments as required
- Lift/handle up to 20 kg of boxes and bags
- Must have training on chemical systems and receive appropriate allergy training
- Weekly cleaning of team rooms, and offices in packaging
- Sweeping/ scrubbing and vacuuming.
- Cleaning and maintaining the locker rooms and bathrooms daily
What You’ll Need To Be Successful.
- Grade 12 education or GED
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to deal with internal and external contacts
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy while being detail oriented
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Possess an excellent attendance record
- Ability to lift/carry approximately 20 kilograms
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and get along well with others
- Be self-motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude
- Basic computer skills would be considered an asset
