Landscape Architect

Description:

Architecture49 Inc. is seeking a Landscape Architect (Intern or Licensed) to join their Montreal office on a full-time hybrid basis. This role involves active collaboration in design and technical development for a wide array of projects in Quebec and beyond, including hotel and resort design, historic restorations, and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will work in a region inspired by Quebec's rich natural and historical heritage, contributing to designs that transcend geography, culture, and time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the development of technical drawings in collaboration with landscape architects, architects, engineers, and urban planners.

• Develop color plans and presentation drawings.

• Contribute to landscape design concepts and planning.

• Assist in the preparation of complete construction documents.

• Support in report writing and cost estimation.

• Participate in proposal development.

• Assist with site supervision and construction inspections.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

• Member or intern member of the AAPQ (Association des architectes paysagistes du Québec).

• Valid ASP Construction card.

• Experience in preparing construction documentation.

• Site supervision, field coordination, and inspection experience.

• Fluent in written and spoken French.

• Ability to work with Anglophone clients and partners, often based outside Quebec.

• Proficiency in the following software/tools:

  • AutoCAD

  • Adobe Suite

  • Microsoft 365

  • REVIT (an asset)

  • BIM principles & workflows (an asset)

  • Civil3D and Rhino (an asset)
