Shift Interiors, a full-service luxury boutique interior design studio based in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join their dynamic and growing team. This full-time hybrid position offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-end residential and commercial projects while learning from a team of passionate, detail-oriented professionals who prioritize wellness, creativity, and transformative design.

As a Junior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of interior design projects from start to finish. This includes administrative tasks, design documentation, production coordination, and project follow-through. The ideal candidate is self-driven, detail-oriented, and inspired to grow within a creative and collaborative studio environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administration and execution of interior design projects across various phases.

  • Support senior designers with design development, concept creation, and presentation preparation.

  • Produce technical drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations using design software.

  • Help manage timelines, schedules, and deliverables to ensure on-time project completion.

  • Communicate effectively with internal team members, clients, vendors, and consultants.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, samples, and design files.

Qualifications:

  • Formal education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Junior Interior Designer.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is a must.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and Teamwork.com is an asset.

  • Understanding of the BC Building Code and local bylaws is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.

  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
