Junior Architectural Technologist

Description:

We are a fast-paced urban residential design/build firm seeking a Junior Architectural Technologist to join our energetic and growing team. If you’re passionate about residential design and construction and eager to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the field, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, drafting, and more drafting! Create and refine detailed architectural drawings, including site plans, floor plans, exterior elevations, and interior details

• Permitting & Submissions: Prepare and submit Development and Building Permit applications

• Technical Support: Assist in the preparation of working construction drawings and support the design team during project execution

• Documentation & Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate project records and handle junior-level administrative responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Education or experience in Residential Architectural Technology

• Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp (bonus if you know Chief Architect!)

• Knowledge of City Bylaws and the National Building Code (this will be a key part of the role)

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
