Functional Architect

Description:

Deloitte is seeking a Bilingual Workday Functional HCM Support Architect to join its Human Capital – Operate team for future opportunities. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can lead, optimize, and provide ongoing post-production support for Workday systems, ensuring that clients achieve maximum business value from their HR technology investments.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both French and English, with deep experience in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. The position involves collaborating with clients across Canada to design, implement, and maintain efficient, scalable Workday systems aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and architect end-to-end Workday implementations and post-deployment optimizations.

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements and convert them into effective system designs.

• Configure complex client requirements in Workday and ensure seamless integration across modules.

• Provide expert-level guidance on Workday HCM functionality, including Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, propose scalable solutions, and oversee performance optimization.

• Mentor and guide junior consultants and client teams, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.

• Manage client relationships and support day-to-day operational needs for managed services engagements.

• Continuously assess system performance and recommend updates, upgrades, or enhancements.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 5 years in Workday consulting or system architecture, including support and configuration experience.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Payroll, Talent Management, and related modules.

  • Proficiency in system integrations and data analysis.

  • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining complex HR solutions.

• Languages: Fluency in French and English (mandatory).

• Certifications: Relevant Workday certifications are highly desirable.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and client relationship management abilities.
