As a Network Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of Innergex’s corporate network infrastructure, supporting both current operations and future growth. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge renewable energy initiatives in a collaborative, bilingual, and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operation of LAN, WAN, VPN, and telecommunication services that meet reliability, capacity, and performance standards.

  • Participate in the design, strategy, and development of network infrastructure to align with corporate IT goals.

  • Install, configure, and manage networking and telecommunications equipment including switches, firewalls, and antennas.

  • Develop and implement firewall policies, access control lists, and authentication/authorization mechanisms to ensure network security.

  • Analyze the impacts of telecommunications solutions and recommend enhancements.

  • Participate in projects to expand and modernize infrastructure to support business growth.

  • Manage network security measures including VPNs, antivirus, firewalls, and related technologies.

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to ensure secure and efficient operations across local and wide-area networks.

  • Maintain detailed documentation, standards, and procedures for IT environments.

  • Support IT governance by implementing best practices and cybersecurity measures to maintain data integrity and system availability.

  • Collaborate with internal operations and construction teams to integrate IT and telecommunications solutions into projects.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in network administration and management.

  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC), Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in Network Management, or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of VPN solutions, routing protocols, switching, QoS, IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, internet, and data center environments.

  • Familiarity with ITIL v4 framework and agile project delivery methodologies.

  • Strong cybersecurity awareness with risk management sensitivity.

  • Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required due to collaboration with multiple international offices.

  • CCNP certification is considered a strong asset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $78,000 – $95,000 annually (approx. $6,500 – $7,916 monthly) with potential annual bonus.
