Description:

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., the largest flat-rolled steel company and leading iron ore pellet producer in North America, is seeking an IT ERP Applications Developer to join its tooling and stamping division in Montreal. This role is integral to maintaining and enhancing ERP systems that streamline and optimize core business operations, contributing to efficiency and innovation across the company.

The IT ERP Applications Developer will be responsible for the design, development, installation, testing, and documentation of ERP-related applications. This includes server, client, and web components to support various business processes. The role also involves performing daily system checks, monitoring system performance, upgrading systems, managing user security profiles, and maintaining compliance with best practices and security standards.

The successful candidate will ensure high system availability and disaster recovery readiness by managing and monitoring replication environments like Mimix. Additionally, they will develop and implement security frameworks, oversee access controls, and conduct audits to maintain data integrity and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize ERP applications, web-based solutions, and business process enhancements.

• Perform system administration duties including upgrades, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.

• Support high availability/disaster recovery systems with data replication and failover testing.

• Create and enforce security policies for ERP and IBMi environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements through technology.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and system issues.

• Stay updated on new technologies and IBMi best practices.
