ESA Series (Energy Solutions Air), a Canadian company based in Sherbrooke, QC, has been a specialist in air quality solutions for agricultural production buildings since 2010. Their innovations aim to enhance air quality inside livestock facilities—improving animal welfare and helping producers boost performance.

ESA Series is currently seeking a versatile IT Technician to join their growing team and manage their expanding fleet of IoT devices (ARM, Raspberry Pi). The ideal candidate will play a central role in system operations, technical support, and infrastructure evolution, primarily using Linux and Ansible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain hundreds of IoT devices using Ansible for deployment and automation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Linux systems, networking, and sensor hardware.

• Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers.

• Improve and enhance the device management system, which includes tools like Ansible, Git, Go, and Node-RED.

• Participate in the selection and validation of sensors, components, and related software tools.

• Contribute to the evolution of ESA's open-source-based automation ecosystem.

Candidate Profile:

• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in IT, networking, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with Linux OS, Ansible automation, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

• Practical mindset with problem-solving skills, technical adaptability, and strong attention to detail.

• Good communication in French and the ability to understand technical English.

• Availability to work on-site at ESA's Sherbrooke office.
