Description:

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration or Commerce majoring in Accounting or Finance or other relevant education;
• Recent graduate or accounting professional looking to take the next step into their career and further their professional development and proficiency;
• CPA designation or willingness to pursue is considered an asset;
• Knowledge of manufacturing, IAS 2 – Inventories, IAS 41 - Agriculture, and applicable internal controls concepts is considered an asset;
• Strong analytical skills;
• High attention to detail with outstanding listening and communication skills;
• Adaptable, flexible, and patient in a rapidly changing environment;
• Ability to work independently, managing multiple deadlines and priorities and showing initiative and taking responsibility of financial reporting area of expertise;
• Team player within the Finance group and able to collaborate with others, as required;
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, coupled with self-learning capabilities;
• High level of professionalism.
