International Tax Manager

Description:

Deloitte Canada is seeking a Manager, International Tax to join its tax advisory team in Saint John, NB (with hybrid work options and multiple location availability across Canada). This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional with a strong background in international tax planning, structuring corporate investments, and strategic tax consulting.

As a Manager in Deloitte’s Tax practice, you will:

• Lead and manage international tax planning engagements.

• Structure corporate investments and develop client-centric tax strategies.

• Proactively bring valuable tax ideas and insights to senior-level clients, becoming a trusted advisor.

• Mentor and coach team members, creating a supportive and high-performing work environment.

• Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to strengthen team expertise.

• Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients.

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree with outstanding academic performance.

• Master’s degree, CPA, or LLB preferred.

• 4+ years of relevant experience (2+ years in international tax).

• CICA In-depth Tax Program completion is an asset.

• Exceptional client service skills and strong communication abilities.

• Demonstrated ability in project management, problem-solving, team leadership, and business development.
