Insurance Defense Legal Assistant

About you
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 3 years of legal assistant experience in Insurance Defense Litigation or plaintiff injury settings
- College diploma in legal assistant studies
- Knowledge of License Appeal Tribunal, Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and Rules of Civil Procedure
- Computer skills: MS Office 365, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Amicus Attorney, PCLaw, etc.
- Willing to learn practice management software (e.g. Amicus Attorney)
- Strong communication skills
- Organized with attention to detail and effective time management
- Flexible team player with a client-service-oriented mindset
