About you

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 3 years of legal assistant experience in Insurance Defense Litigation or plaintiff injury settings
• College diploma in legal assistant studies
• Knowledge of License Appeal Tribunal, Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and Rules of Civil Procedure
• Computer skills: MS Office 365, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Amicus Attorney, PCLaw, etc.
• Willing to learn practice management software (e.g. Amicus Attorney)
• Strong communication skills
• Organized with attention to detail and effective time management
• Flexible team player with a client-service-oriented mindset
