Industrial Electrician

A. & D.C. Electric (2023) Limited is hiring a Red-Seal Industrial Electrician to join their team in Dartmouth, N.S. This full-time position involves providing electrical repair and maintenance support for equipment in a marine or heavy industrial environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, modifying, repairing, and maintaining electrical circuits, devices, and equipment. They will troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical and control equipment while ensuring compliance with OHS and company safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, modify, repair, and maintain electrical circuits, devices, and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical and control systems.

• Participate in training such as WHMIS, Workplace First Aid, Confined Space, and Fall Arrest.

• Adhere to OHS and company safety policies.

• Work efficiently in different environments and job sites, following direction.

• Be available for occasional travel and emergency call-ins.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Red-Seal Electrician certification (proof required).

• Class 5 License required.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in confined spaces, heights, near water, and in extreme conditions.

• Marine industry experience and Industrial experience preferred.

• Safety-focused with a strong work ethic.

Working Hours:

• Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

• Evenings and weekends may be required.

• Travel may be required.
