Housekeeper

Description:

A private employer is seeking a dedicated Child Caregiver and Housekeeper to join their home in Sherwood Park, Alberta. The position requires light housekeeping, child care, and assisting with the well-being of children, especially those with special needs (ADHD or ADD). The caregiver will ensure a safe environment for children, assist with their emotional well-being, and take them to appointments or school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

• Shop for food and household supplies

• Care for pets and children

• Keep records of daily activities and health information

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• Supervise and care for children

• Take children to and from school and appointments

• Tend to emotional well-being of children

• Assist children with homework

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Qualifications:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• First Aid Certificate

• Experience with special needs children, particularly ADHD or ADD is preferred

• Must be willing to work onsite (no remote work)

• Patience, honesty, and attention to detail
