Hourly Host/hostess

Description:

Cineplex’s The Rec Room is hiring Server Assistants/Hosts to create an outstanding hospitality experience for guests. This role involves greeting guests, ensuring a clean and well-maintained restaurant, and assisting with event setups while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a welcoming atmosphere and deliver an exceptional guest experience

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the restaurant

• Assist in setting up and tearing down events and functions

• Inform guests about special promotions, pricing, and daily events

• Answer guest inquiries and handle reservations efficiently

• Monitor guest adherence to safety policies

• Maintain fully operational individual stations

• Report operational issues to management

Requirements:

• Ontario Smart Serve Certificate (mandatory)

• Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 lbs

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Comfortable working varied shifts and alone for full shifts

Work Environment:
