Description:

Matrec, a division of GFL, is looking for an energetic and motivated Handyman (Class 3 or 1) for a part-time position. As a part of a dynamic, growing company focused on safety, GFL specializes in waste collection, recycling, and organic materials processing across North America. With over 20,000 employees, GFL is seeking someone to support its growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean floors and equipment

• Sweep and wash floors

• Clean and maintain parking areas and truck maintenance zones

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for staff and vehicles

• Drive a truck if needed

• Drive trucks to the garage

• Serve as a commissioner

• Perform grounds maintenance

• Be available on call

• Perform other tasks as requested by immediate supervisor
