Stevens-Johnson Syndrome Canada (SJS Canada) is a registered non-profit organization committed to promoting health, providing support, and offering vital information to individuals and families affected by Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN). We are seeking General Volunteers to join our team and support our mission through a range of flexible, online-based tasks.

As a General Volunteer, you will play a vital role in expanding awareness, supporting affected individuals, and ensuring smooth virtual operations. This opportunity is fully remote, offering flexibility while making a meaningful impact on a community that needs strong support and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Outreach: Assist in raising awareness about SJS/TEN through digital campaigns and online engagement.

  • Support Services: Help organize and facilitate virtual support groups, educational programs, and resources for patients, caregivers, and families.

  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with data entry, email correspondence, maintaining online resources, and other organizational tasks.

  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of online webinars, awareness sessions, and virtual events.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for health promotion, advocacy, and community service.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Comfortable using online collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

  • Previous volunteer experience is an asset but not required.
