Functional Analyst

Description:

LGS, an IBM Company, is seeking a seasoned SAP Functional Analyst (SD/MM) for a major client in the manufacturing sector. This hybrid contract role is based in Boucherville, Quebec, and involves working closely with business units and integration partners to optimize SAP systems and streamline enterprise processes.

The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, with deep knowledge of Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules. This opportunity involves contributing to high-impact transformation projects in both the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison between business users and the integration team to gather requirements and address integration, reporting, and migration needs.

• Lead requirement analysis, process mapping, and documentation efforts.

• Approve development work and ensure the quality of configurations and technical specifications.

• Design, develop, and validate custom SAP integrations.

• Oversee master data object management and support business analysts.

• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies and data load validation.

• Support ongoing SAP system enhancements and change management initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 10 years of SAP functional experience, with proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA (SD/MM) modules.

• Strong documentation and analytical skills.

• Fully bilingual in English and French.

• Ability to work independently, demonstrate leadership, and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of IDOCs, EDI protocols, other SAP modules, and experience in the manufacturing sector.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.

Work Conditions:

• Start Date: As soon as possible.

• Duration: 6-month contract, renewable up to 2 years.

• Work Schedule: 37.5 hours/week.

• Hybrid Model: 3 days per week in Boucherville office.
