Forklift Operator

Description:

Arrow Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator (Counter Balance) to join its operations in Halifax, NS. This is a full-time, on-site position offering steady hours, weekly pay, and long-term growth opportunities within a supportive and safety-focused workplace.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Counter Balance forklifts while supporting daily warehouse operations. The role involves handling inventory accurately, supporting order fulfillment processes, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This position is ideal for candidates with proven forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a reliable, team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Counter Balance forklifts to move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse.

• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and pick orders with accuracy.

• Ensure proper handling, counting, and documentation of inventory.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards in the warehouse.

• Support general warehouse operations and assist team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating Counter Balance forklifts.

• Ability to read, write, and count accurately in English.

• Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory tracking.

• Must own CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with a positive team-oriented approach.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Location: Halifax, NS

• Shift: Monday to Friday

• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Pay Rate: CA$28/hr
