CAE is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager – Digital Initiatives to manage the financial aspects of its Global Digital Initiatives (GDI). This critical role involves overseeing actuals, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis while providing essential financial insights to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing and managing the finance section of corporate investment business cases, establishing governance structures, and reporting on operational and financial KPIs. This position requires the ability to deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and diagnostics for intangible asset reconciliation on a monthly or quarterly basis. You will also contribute to identifying cost reduction opportunities, mitigate risks of overspending, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and approval processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the finance aspects of corporate investment books and implementing governance processes.

• Providing comprehensive financial insights on the global digital initiatives portfolio.

• Conducting forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for the tech portfolio and intangible investments.

• Delivering forecasts of amortization of intangibles and supporting the PDLC process.

• Preparing presentations for executive leadership and providing recommendations for strategic growth.

The ideal candidate will hold a CPA accounting title, possess at least 8 years of relevant financial analysis experience, and have a proven background in preparing investment business cases, gap analysis, and executive-level presentations. Strong analytical abilities, excellent Excel skills, familiarity with Planisware, and bilingual proficiency (French and English) are essential.
