At DEL, you'll join a close-knit team of 50 professionals passionate about supporting companies and one another. If you’re enthusiastic about helping SMEs overcome organizational challenges and succeed in export ventures, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

• Guide companies in defining and implementing their export projects

• Advise entrepreneurs on technical aspects of exporting

• Create financial packages and assist in securing export-related funding and grants

• Refer businesses to specialized resources as needed

• Stay informed on export trends and issues, sharing insights to promote and facilitate exports

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with entrepreneurs and partners

• Organize and participate in trade missions abroad

• Represent DEL at economic events, serve on partner committees, and participate in consultations

• Promote DEL’s services and support business development through networking activities

• Organize and participate in events and programs related to exporting

• Contribute to internal projects and support DEL’s strategic action plans

Profile & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Trade, or a related field

• 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role or in consulting

• Experience assisting companies with export projects

• Knowledge of services and emerging markets

• Understanding of business challenges and issues

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent networking abilities and political savvy

• Strong understanding of international trade trends and technical aspects

• Ability to manage priorities aligned with objectives

• Familiarity with regional economic development programs and stakeholders is a strong asset

• Knowledge of municipal, provincial, and national economic development markets

• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
