Description:
We are seeking an experienced Epicor ERP Consultant to support the implementation, customization, and optimization of the Epicor ERP system. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of the Epicor platform and a solid understanding of manufacturing or distribution business processes. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, configure modules, and provide end-user training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Epicor ERP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into Epicor configurations or customizations.
- Configure and maintain Epicor modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory, Sales).
- Develop SSRS reports, dashboards, BPMs (Business Process Management), and BAQs (Business Activity Queries).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve workflows.
- Provide training and support to users, ensuring adoption and proper utilization of the system.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide Tier 2/3 support for Epicor-related incidents.
- Liaise with Epicor support and third-party vendors when required.
- Document technical specifications, system configurations, and training materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (preferably versions 10 or Kinetic).
- Strong knowledge of Epicor tools such as BPM, BAQ, SSRS, and DMT.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and database management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Epicor certification(s) preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of C# or customization via Epicor's ICE framework.
- Experience with EDI integrations and third-party Epicor add-ons.
- Agile or waterfall project management experience.
