MicroEntreprendre Cœur et Hautes-Laurentides is looking for a passionate and experienced Entrepreneurship Advisor for a permanent part-time position (21 hours per week) with a flexible schedule and hybrid work options. This role is ideal for someone who believes in the potential of entrepreneurs and wants to use their expertise to support business owners in their ventures, particularly in regional economic development.

The organization supports entrepreneurs by providing personalized assistance for starting or consolidating their businesses. It also facilitates access to microcredit for individuals with limited access to traditional financing. As part of a dynamic network rooted in the region, MicroEntreprendre collaborates with various socio-economic partners.

Under the supervision of the General Director, the selected candidate will offer personalized support to entrepreneurs, assisting them in structuring their projects, optimizing financing applications, and overcoming challenges. The role also involves helping to raise the organization’s profile and collaborating with regional socio-economic stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Entrepreneurial Support:

  • Welcome clients, understand their realities, and establish trust-based relationships.

  • Guide project owners in developing business plans and financial forecasts.

  • Analyze loan requests and make tailored recommendations.

  • Provide regular follow-up and support to overcome challenges.

• Development and Outreach:

  • Maintain relationships with socio-economic stakeholders and encourage regional collaboration.

  • Contribute to the visibility and mission of the organization.

• Administration:

  • Participate in accountability reports.

  • Collect statistical data and update the CRM system.

Required Profile:

• A combination of relevant academic training in business administration, entrepreneurship, finance, social sciences, or consulting, along with field experience, will be considered.

• Experience in entrepreneurship (either personal or professional), or a strong sensitivity to the realities of entrepreneurs.

• A versatile, rigorous, proactive individual with creativity, organization, and excellent analytical skills.

• Autonomous and collaborative, comfortable working independently as well as in a team.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust-based relationships with a diverse clientele.

• Comfortable with digital tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

• A vehicle and a valid driver's license are required for travel within the region.

• Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
