Qualifications
Requirements:
- Journeyman Electrician RED Seal
- Experience in industrial maintenance, distribution or automated plant operations considered an asset.
- Ability to lift 50-70 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights and see clearly at 35 feet or more.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams.
- Correct use of maintenance tools and machine shop equipment
- High degree of electrical trouble shooting skills and an understanding of safe practices within electrical code.
- Good computer skills and familiar with maintenance management programs
- Good communicator on the phone when dealing with technical support.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations and emergency procedures
- Valid Arial Work Platform Safety Training certificate considered an asset.
- Valid Fall Protection certificate valid Forklift certificate considered an asset.
