Electrical Engineer

Our client, a leading company specializing in hydrogen solutions and renewable energy technologies, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to help shape the future of renewable energy. As the company continues to expand, they are looking for innovative engineers to help deliver cutting-edge products and services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and service electrical and control systems for product development and delivery.

• Develop specifications, designs, and detailed drawings for electrical layouts and systems.

• Select and install process control components, tune PLC systems, and design subassemblies for manufacturability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless product deployment, commissioning, and field support.

• Design and install new electrical controls and instrumentation for plant equipment integration.

• Ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems, providing innovative solutions for breakdowns.

• Support ongoing service and maintenance contracts for clients.

• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes accountability and enthusiasm.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (P.Eng. designation required).

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in LV/MV electrical system design, installation, commissioning, and service, ideally in hydrogen, natural gas, or chemical industries.

• Experience with industrial control systems, PLC programming (Siemens PLCs), and HMI/SCADA.

• Knowledge of electrical certifications and codes for hazardous areas.

• Expertise in electrical system schematics, layout design, and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency with EPLAN, CAD systems, and MS Office.

• Ability to develop clear technical specifications, test procedures, and manuals.
