Accountant Staffing is seeking a highly experienced Director of Finance for a growing organization in St. John’s, NL. This role is designed for a senior finance professional who can provide strategic leadership, manage the finance department, and strengthen the finance function across multiple business units. The Director will collaborate with senior leadership, improve communication and information flow, and lead complex financial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance department, ensuring alignment with company goals and best practices.

• Oversee financial operations including reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and full-cycle accounting.

• Collaborate across departments to enhance communication and support data-driven decision-making.

• Support HR initiatives for the finance team, including onboarding and training staff.

• Provide strategic financial insights and guidance to senior leadership.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Conduct special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• CPA designation is required.

• Minimum 3 years in a similar senior finance leadership role, preferably across multiple business units or locations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Collaborative mindset with ability to enhance processes and information flow.

• Capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.
