Development Officer

Description:

Union Gospel Mission (UGM) is seeking a Development Officer for Principal Giving to lead donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts in Victoria. This role focuses on building meaningful donor relationships, engaging with local churches and the broader community, and driving philanthropic support to further UGM’s mission of feeding hope and changing lives through a Christ-centered approach.

As a Development Officer, you will:

• Cultivate, solicit, and steward annual, monthly, and major gift donors.

• Develop strong relationships with donors, community members, and church leaders to grow the donor base.

• Build trust and communicate UGM’s vision effectively to inspire giving.

• Collaborate with other staff members and assist in crisis situations when necessary.

• Engage in strategic fundraising activities to enhance financial support for UGM’s programs.

Requirements:
