Description:
As the Director, Developer Operations and Experience, you will lead a small team of DevOps Engineers and stay close to their day-to-day work, while also steering the evolution from a traditional DevOps function into a modern Developer Experience and Platform Engineering organization. This role owns the strategy, architecture, and execution of the internal developer platform, CI/CD, cloud foundations, observability, and developer tooling, while also pioneering how AI and agent-first pipelines are embedded into the software development lifecycle.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will build and lead a team, coach deeply, and regularly roll up your sleeves alongside engineers. At Miovision, everyone is a builder, and this role exists to ensure that building is fast, intuitive, secure, and increasingly AI-native while maintaining deep accountability for reliability, security, and production operations.
Please note: We love collaborating in person. This is a hybrid opportunity with about one day a week spent at our Kitchener HQ. If you’re outside the local commuting area but think you're a perfect match, we still want to hear from you, however priority will be given to those who can meet this on-site requirement.
