Data Developer

Description:

Ateko, in partnership with Bell Canada, is seeking a highly skilled Data Developer to join its Data Solutions Development team. This role is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about data engineering, analytics solutions, and cloud technologies. The candidate will be involved in the full lifecycle of data pipeline development and work closely with business analysts and solution designers to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and applications across their complete lifecycle.

• Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to identify data sources and define business rules for analytics platforms.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by sharing ideas and innovations with peers.

• Ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables, including thorough documentation and rigorous testing in line with established data models and standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• 7 to 10 years of experience in IT, with demonstrated proficiency in SQL and Python.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.

• Solid experience with Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Previous work experience in Agile environments.

• Knowledge of investment industry practices is considered an asset.

• Fully bilingual in English and French.
