Description:

Ateko, supported by Bell Canada, is currently seeking a Data Developer to join their dynamic team in Montreal. This hybrid role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about working at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and modern DevOps practices.

As a vital member of the Data Solutions Development Team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle development of data pipelines and related applications. Your role will involve close collaboration with business analysts and solution designers to understand source systems, interpret business rules, and integrate these into analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust data pipelines and applications from inception to deployment.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

• Uphold best practices in software development by ensuring high-quality coding, thorough testing, and comprehensive documentation.

• Engage in continuous improvement efforts by sharing insights and contributing to the advancement of the organization’s data platform.

• Ensure compliance with predefined models and data architecture standards.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a combination of relevant education and experience.

• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in IT, particularly with SQL and Python.

• Advanced knowledge of Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.

• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.

• Understanding of financial investment systems is considered an asset.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
