Data Analyst Intern

SAP is offering an exceptional internship opportunity within its Global Physical Security team as part of the SAP Internship Experience Program (iXp). The position of Business Reporting and Data Analyst Intern is designed for students or recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in analytics, business reporting, and the application of SAP solutions in real-world security systems.

This 8-month full-time internship will be based in Vancouver, BC, starting in September 2025. The intern will work closely with SAP's Global Program Manager and the Business Analytics Service Owner to contribute to meaningful projects, particularly focused on operational dashboards and data transparency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and enhancement of business insight reporting using Power BI and SAP’s proprietary analytics tools.

• Learn and apply knowledge of physical security systems and data capture methods to assist in building and automating dashboards.

• Maintain and expand operational dashboards to improve visibility into security operations.

• Capture and manage business reporting requirements and backlog items.

• Identify and document repeatable processes to enhance efficiency in reporting.

Eligibility and Requirements:

• Must be a current student or recent graduate (within 6 months of graduation) from a university or a recognized institution (including bootcamps and academies).

• Pursuing or holding a degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.

• Passion for security systems and business analytics.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• A self-starter who is collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and interested in learning enterprise software systems.
