Description:

Deloitte Global Technology is seeking a Technical Cybersecurity Risk & Reporting Manager to lead and oversee the technical operations, reporting, and data extraction services within the Cybersecurity Risk Management and Reporting (CRMR) team. This is a pivotal leadership role designed for professionals who excel in technical problem-solving, team leadership, and innovative solution development in a fast-evolving cybersecurity landscape.

This role is based in Canada with a hybrid work model, offering opportunities to work in multiple locations including Halifax, Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, and St. John’s.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical authority for CRMR services, providing expertise in Power BI, Python, Azure SQL, Splunk, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative technical solutions to address complex cybersecurity risk reporting challenges.

  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and governance of sensitive data aligned with Deloitte’s policies.

  • Oversee daily operations of the technical reporting service (CSMA), ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of reports and data extracts.

  • Implement and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to achieve first-time accuracy and completeness.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all reporting processes, systems, and procedures.

  • Foster continuous improvement by implementing tools, technologies, and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) to streamline operations.

  • Champion data-driven decision-making and performance optimization across the team.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or relevant technical roles.

  • Certifications in one or more of the following are an asset:

    • Power BI, Python, Azure SQL, Cloud platform administration (Azure), Splunk, Datawarehouse/Datalake, Informatica (ETL).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Experience in cybersecurity risk management and data governance is preferred.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary: $85,000 – $156,000 annually (approx. $7,083 – $13,000 monthly).
