Description:

SAP is seeking a motivated and creative UA Content Designer Intern under its SAP Internship Experience Program (iXp) in Vancouver, BC. This internship provides a unique opportunity to develop technical writing and content design skills in a collaborative, future-focused, and innovation-driven environment.

The role focuses on creating user assistance content, UX copy, and help documentation to support SAP’s data and analytics cloud services. Ideal candidates will have a strong passion for writing, user-centric design, and improving user experiences with technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research, map, and validate user journeys to enhance product adoption and onboarding.

  • Create help documentation (text and multimedia) in collaboration with UX designers, product managers, and development teams.

  • Write clear, concise UI texts and UX copy to improve product usability.

  • Define simple and consistent terminology aligned with industry standards.

  • Proofread and edit content for readability, usability, and linguistic accuracy.

  • Ensure high-quality deliverables adhering to SAP guidelines and tone.

  • Participate in cross-departmental initiatives to improve content, tools, and processes.

  • Use a data-driven approach to content creation and decision-making.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Computer Science, or related fields.

  • Must be currently enrolled or recently graduated (within 6 months) from an eligible program.

  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.


Preferred Skills and Knowledge

  • Keen interest in new technologies (knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, or programming is an advantage).

  • Knowledge of information architecture concepts.

  • Ability to analyze diverse user learning needs.

  • Quick adaptability to agile product development processes.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

  • Start Date: 1 September 2025

  • Contract Duration: 8 months

  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
