Content Designer

Description:

Creative Circle, a leading creative staffing agency, is seeking a Content Designer / UX Copywriter to join their agency client’s team in Toronto. This role requires a talented professional who can create, design, and optimize digital content experiences that engage users and enhance usability.

As a Content Designer / UX Copywriter, you will collaborate closely with a team of UX Designers and UX Writers to craft clear, consistent, and user-centered content across multiple digital platforms. The role combines creative writing, design thinking, and content strategy to build cohesive and intuitive digital journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and write a variety of deliverables including wireframes, site maps, onboarding flows, micro-copy, user journeys, surveys, interviews, and content strategies.

• Plan, create, and manage content that aligns with brand tone and delivers clarity, engagement, and value to users.

• Create content strategies that leverage design thinking principles for improved digital product experiences.

• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver cohesive content frameworks, product naming, in-product language, and navigation systems.

• Ensure all written materials are optimized for usability and accessibility while maintaining a consistent voice across platforms.

• Participate in user research and usability testing to validate content effectiveness and refine messaging accordingly.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–8 years of proven experience as a UX Writer or Content Designer in a digital, creative, or product-focused environment.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating successful UX content design and case studies.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design and digital content best practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to work onsite in downtown Toronto 3–4 times per week.

• Capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting that may involve handling sensitive or proprietary information.
