Deloitte Canada is seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join its Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice as Manager or Senior Manager – SAP Tax Technology Consulting. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong tax background who are passionate about technology, innovation, and helping businesses implement effective ERP tax systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage tax technology projects end-to-end, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Identify and manage business and functional requirements for SAP-based tax solutions.

• Configure and implement SAP indirect tax modules (GST, HST, PST) to optimize business processes.

• Design and execute process flow mapping, scenario design, testing, and training related to SAP tax functions.

• Develop implementation and support procedures to ensure smooth transitions and post-go-live stability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative tax automation and digitalization solutions.

• Mentor, coach, and develop team members by sharing technical knowledge and industry expertise.

• Participate in client relationship management, proposal preparation, and business development activities.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax operations or consulting, preferably with exposure to tax technology projects.

• Hands-on experience with indirect tax applications such as ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avatax, or Sovos.

• Strong experience configuring indirect tax in SAP environments.

• Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and manage complex client relationships.
