Description:
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Project Manager to support initiatives within Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and Cybersecurity programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and tracking projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, and supporting cross-functional collaboration across technical and compliance teams. Manage and track CIP and cybersecurity projects, ensuring compliance, coordination, and delivery within a corporate regulatory environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and report on business process change or similar project activities by consistently monitoring project benefits, resources and status and creating documents such as project plans, action logs, communication plans, status reports and post implementation reviews so that the project is implemented as planned.
- Develop project plans and risk management plans for business process change or similar projects by identifying, analyzing, and monitoring risks for effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Complete project management activities including scoping, planning, managing, monitoring, and reporting on project tasks by using intermediate skills in Microsoft Office as well as project management programs to fulfill ’s business needs.
- Maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders through regular reporting and communication using excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills enabling timely progression of projects.
Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience in a corporate or government setting.
- Must Have:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on tracking progress, risks, and deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team members and contribute to shared goals.
- Experience working in regulated environments or with compliance-driven programs.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, or similar platforms).
Nice to Have:
- Experience in cybersecurity, particularly in Operational Technology (OT) environments.
- Familiarity with NERC CIP standards or other regulatory standards.
- Understanding of Structured Decision Making (SDM) methodologies.
- Experience conducting or supporting compliance audits, root cause analysis, and Extent of Condition (EOC) reviews.
- Knowledge of risk management and issue tracking processes in a compliance or cybersecurity context.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and compliance.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, synthesize information, and present actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with change management and stakeholder engagement best practices.
- Education and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related discipline
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation, or equivalent project management credential preferred
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
- Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
