Co-founder, Business & Media Lead

TrailMix Technologies is seeking a business-savvy, media-smart co-founder to lead the growth, branding, and business strategy for Eh!, a proudly Canadian social media startup. Eh! is designed to foster authentic, constructive, and local conversations, reconnecting people with their communities both online and offline.

As Co-founder, Business & Media Lead, you will take full ownership of the business, media, and growth strategy—from defining the brand voice to building partnerships and shaping the company’s monetization and expansion plans. You will work alongside technical and product co-founders as an equal partner, helping guide Eh!’s strategy, mission, and long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Growth Strategy

• Develop and execute launch and growth strategies to integrate Eh! into Canadian communities.
• Build partnerships with local organizations, brands, and media.
• Develop ethical monetization models, including ads, partnerships, and premium features.
• Lead fundraising efforts and manage investor relations (if needed).

Brand, Media & Public Presence

• Define and manage a strong Canadian brand identity and voice.
• Lead public relations (PR) and media outreach to share Eh!’s story.
• Oversee and grow Eh!'s social media presence with community-driven content.
• Launch marketing and community campaigns that prioritize real people and connections.

Leadership & Company Building

• Actively contribute to company strategy, mission, and culture.
• Recruit and build teams for growth, marketing, and partnerships as Eh! scales.
• Represent Eh! publicly at events and partnerships as a key spokesperson.

Ideal Candidate:

✅ Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable with building from scratch and wearing multiple hats.
✅ Experience in business development, marketing, partnerships, and/or community building.
✅ A natural storyteller and connector—skilled in brand-building and media engagement.
✅ Passionate about making social media better and fostering real community connections.
✅ Deep understanding of Canadian culture, values, and communities.
✅ Bonus: Experience in tech startups, media, social platforms, or grassroots organizing.
