Cloud Architect

Description:

LGS is looking for a Cloud Architect specializing in infrastructure to join their team for a 36-month contract role. This position involves providing cloud architecture expertise to support the company's digital transformation and migration projects. The role will contribute to the organization's strategic goals by ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of technological systems and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define technological and application directions for cloud solutions.

• Develop a comprehensive and shared view of technology and application configurations.

• Establish cloud model components, their interrelations, and guidelines to ensure the organization's safety.

• Approve cloud-related directions for clients.

• Support the team in defining migration solutions, such as guides, processes, and procedures.

• Identify deliverables to help clients with their cloud migration.

• Propose tools/mechanisms to measure client progress towards organizational goals.

• Promote the use of cloud architecture in investment planning and solution design.

• Encourage the use of cloud services, supporting their expansion in various forms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields (minimum DEC or 30 credits in a relevant area).

• 3+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, including 1 year in a large government organization.

• Experience in cloud architecture, including virtualization, automation, and technology migration.

• Involvement in at least two projects of 2.5 years each in cloud architecture with at least 1 year of personal participation.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Experience with technological infrastructures (Linux, Windows).

• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
