GeriCall is offering a unique opportunity for licensed physicians to work flexibly from abroad as a Central Telephone Physician (CT-arts), supporting night care services in the Netherlands. This fully remote role allows you to deliver medical triage and consultation during Dutch night hours while working daytime in your own time zone (e.g., Asia, Australia, or Oceania).

As a CT-arts, you will act as the primary medical contact for nurses and caregivers in Dutch nursing homes, responding to calls, providing clinical guidance, and determining if a physical assessment is required. If needed, you will hand over the consultation to an on-site physician in the Netherlands. You will collaborate closely with a specialist in elderly medicine (your back-up), utilize GeriCall’s GeriForce platform for real-time triage and reporting, and contribute to the continuity and sustainability of elderly care.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle medical inquiries from care staff and provide appropriate remote guidance.

• Refer cases requiring physical assessment to regional visiting physicians.

• Consult with back-up physicians, medical specialists, or emergency services as needed.

• Accurately document all interactions in the electronic client record and GeriForce.

• Support sustainable and high-quality elderly care during night hours in the Netherlands.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Valid Dutch BIG registration (GP, ANIOS, AIOS, elderly care specialist, or clinical geriatrician).

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, ideally in elderly care, emergency care, or general practice.

• Residing or temporarily living in a country with at least a 7-hour time difference from the Netherlands (e.g., Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Australia, New Zealand).

• Strong decision-making, communication, and digital skills.

• Affinity with elderly care and ability to provide safe remote medical support.
