We are seeking a passionate and skilled Board-Certified Veterinary Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist to work with our exceptional team. Candidates who are completing their residency and are or will be board-eligible are welcome to apply. Support and mentorship will be provided to properly prepare for exams. We are looking for a personable, client-centered internist who enjoys working as part of a team, with strong communication and people skills. As a specialist locum with us, you will work closely with the internal medicine support team of highly skilled Registered Veterinary Technicians and assistants. We also have a comprehensive in-house laboratory staffed by Registered Medical Laboratory Technologists. Diagnostic imaging capabilities are all available with an in-house 32 slice GE CT and a 1.5 T MRI.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
 

• Board certification as a veterinary cardiologist or board eligible
• Licensed (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Newfoundland and Labrador
• A strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients
• Outstanding communication skills, especially when dealing with clients
• Ability and willingness to work closely and effectively with the entire VSCNL team
• Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude are a must
• Passion for what you do every day
