Description:
The driver will be responsible for attaching the disabled vehicle to the 3-car hauler trailer over 40 feet long. Depending on the type of trailer/hauler, this may include using a chain, winch, steering locks, and other devices
- Drive on the trailer while watching where your tires are.
- Delivers customer orders to specified delivery sites.
- Maneuvers vehicles into loading or unloading positions and ensures that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
- Loads and unloads safely and accurately.
- Takes all precautions to protect the vehicle and the customers' property
- Verifies order details and maintains logs of delivery duties including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage, and locations of deliveries.
- Checks items against invoice to ensure order accuracy.
- Communicates well and possesses a basic knowledge of cars and automotive parts.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
- Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
- 2 - 3 years experience in hauling trailers and automotive repair
