The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), operator of Toronto Pearson International Airport, is seeking an Analyst, Business Planning and Analysis to join its dynamic finance and airport operations team. Reporting to the Manager, Business Planning and Analysis (Airport Operations), the Analyst will play a critical role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The position involves managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliation processes, developing financial models, preparing executive-level presentations, and ensuring alignment of airport operational strategies with financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, prepare, and validate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial budget reconciliations, including variance analysis on revenues and expenditures.
Partner with Airport Operations management to ensure strategic initiatives align with financial planning.
Act as liaison with Accounting for month-end processes, audits, and variance reporting.
Develop financial models in Microsoft Excel and Workday Adaptive to assess operational scenarios and their impacts.
Maintain and update airport revenue and cost models, ensuring data integrity and system accuracy.
Conduct research and perform advanced quantitative analysis of financial and operational data.
Support the development of annual budgets, five-year plans, and monthly rolling forecasts.
Coordinate with stakeholders across finance and operations to ensure accurate reflection of strategic initiatives.
Manage FESTI’s internal revenue database and reconcile with Oracle systems.
Assist with annual audits, revenue amortization, and month-end finance activities.
Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to measure financial and operational performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
University degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
CPA designation (CA, CMA, CGA) completed or in progress.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting within a large organization.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Financial systems, Essbase/Hyperion, Adaptive, and similar tools.
Strong financial analysis, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
Ability to obtain and maintain Transportation Security Clearance.

Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly wage of CAD 42.97 (based on 37.5-hour work week, Band 6 classification).
