Business Intelligence Developer

Description:

Reporting to the Business Systems Supervisor, the Business Intelligence Developer creates and maintains business intelligence (BI) reports across the enterprise using a variety of software platforms to inspire a data-driven decision-making culture. The Business Intelligence Developer will create reports and metrics based on data provided by the (enterprise resources planning) ERP team and business units.

Temporary 2-year contract term.

You will bring to the role:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in roles dedicated to Power BI reporting building and developing reports and dashboards.
• Certificate or Diploma in Business Intelligence and/or Data Analytics or related field, is an asset.
• Knowledge and experience working with SQL databases, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) and other ancillary support applications.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, gathering input and converting to reports and dashboards.
• Superior organizational, communication skills, and an ability to develop strong, positive relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work in a confidential manner.
